Privacy Policy for Engineering Calc: All-in-One
This Privacy Policy describes how Engineering Calc: All-in-One ("the app") handles information when you use the Android application package com.gigante.engineeringcalc.
Overview
Engineering Calc: All-in-One is an offline scientific and engineering calculator for Basic, Engineering, Programmer, RPN, Matrix, Vector, Complex, graphing, custom formula, unit conversion, local history, local project, export, backup, and engineering helper workflows. Its launcher icon label is EngiCalc.
The app does not require an account for core use and does not upload calculation inputs, outputs, local history, project notes, formulas, or settings to a developer server during normal use.
The current Android build does not include ads, developer analytics, account registration, cloud sync, or a developer-operated backend for normal calculator use. It includes optional EngiCalc Pro purchases through Google Play Billing.
Current app features covered by this policy
This policy covers the shipped Android app features, including Basic, Engineering, Programmer, RPN, Matrix, Vector, Complex, and equation workflows; programmer base conversion and developer utilities; graphing with zoom, pan, multiple functions, SVG export, and analysis; unit conversion; custom formulas; custom linear units; electronics, construction, mechanics, physics, chemistry, and geometry tools; local history; local projects; exports; imports; encrypted local backups; and local backup/restore features.
Information stored on your device
The app may store the following information locally on your device:
- calculation history, recent expressions, pinned entries, notes, tags, and type filters;
- local project records, folders, saved calculations, notes, tags, templates, and report metadata that you create;
- formula variables, examples, custom formulas, formula favorites, and formula import/export selections;
- unit categories, custom units, favorite conversions, and converter preferences;
- graph functions entered by you, graph analysis results saved into projects, and graph export selections;
- precision, theme, AMOLED, high contrast, haptic, sound, compact keyboard, language, angle mode, RPN, programmer bit-width, signedness, keyboard, onboarding, and app settings;
- custom keyboard macros and layout preferences when you use those Pro features;
- local JSON import/export files, encrypted backup payloads, local backup versions, and backup preferences when you create or enable them;
- local Pro entitlement state and the Google Play product identifier used to unlock Pro on this device.
This data is used to provide app features on your device. It is not transmitted to the developer by the default offline calculator flow.
Purchases
EngiCalc Pro is optional. The free core calculator remains available without a purchase. Pro unlocks professional workflow features such as unlimited local history, unlimited local projects, custom formulas, custom units, custom keyboard macros, advanced graph presets, project templates, Pro themes, compact and AMOLED settings, PDF/CSV/text/JSON/SVG exports, encrypted backups, and local backup versions.
Pro purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. The configured products are engicalc_pro for the monthly auto-renewing subscription, yearly_annual for the yearly auto-renewing subscription, and engicalc_pro_lifetime for the one-time lifetime unlock. Google Play displays the final price, currency, taxes, subscription renewal terms, cancellation options, and restore availability for your country and account.
The developer does not receive your payment card details from the app. Google Play may process purchase tokens, product identifiers, order details, account state, and subscription status according to Google's own terms and privacy policies. The app stores only the local entitlement state needed to unlock Pro features on the device. No payment card details are stored in the app.
Data collection and sharing
The developer does not receive calculation inputs, outputs, formulas, project notes, local history, or settings during normal app use.
If you choose to export, copy, back up, or share a calculation, graph, project report, CSV, PDF, JSON, SVG, encrypted backup, or plain text result, the selected information is passed to the operating system share sheet, clipboard, print flow, file location, cloud storage, or app that you choose. The receiving service then handles that information under its own policy.
When you buy or restore Pro, the app communicates with Google Play services on the device to request available products, start purchase flows, receive purchase updates, and restore eligible purchases. The default implementation does not send your calculations, formulas, projects, local history, or exported files to the developer.
The developer does not sell personal data. The app is designed so that calculation, formula, graph, backup, export, and project content stays local unless you explicitly export, copy, back up, or share it through a destination that you select.
Permissions
The default calculator is designed to avoid dangerous Android permissions. It does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, Bluetooth, or background service access for normal calculations.
The current release build uses Google Play Billing services only for optional Pro purchases and restore. Support email
If you contact support manually, the developer receives the email address and information that you choose to include. That information is used only to respond to your request.
Data deletion
You can delete local history and local projects in the app where supported. You can delete or overwrite custom formulas, custom units, backups, and exported files where they are stored. You can also remove local app data by clearing app data in Android settings or uninstalling the app.
Because the developer does not operate a backend for the default calculator flow, the developer does not maintain a server-side copy of your calculations, formulas, projects, or history.
Device backups
Android or third-party services may provide device-level backups. Those services are controlled by your device, Google account, system settings, or selected backup provider, not by the developer.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the app changes, such as when new data handling, sync, account, analytics, billing, or export behavior is added. The updated version will be published at this same URL with a new last-updated date.

Engineering Calc: All-in-One provides estimates and helper calculations. It does not replace professional engineering, electrical, construction, chemical, medical, legal, or regulatory validation. Critical or safety-relevant work must be verified with certified tools, current standards, manufacturer specifications, and qualified professionals.
